Doors sprayed in our shop with a factory-grade finish, back on in four days, from $110 a door.
Open the kitchen and count. Every door that swings is a door; every drawer face, including the false ones, is a drawer front. The number you get is the number we quote. The visit just confirms it.
Painting cabinets in place leaves brush marks and peels. We do it the way the factory did: doors off, sprayed flat in a shop, boxes masked and sprayed in your kitchen.
We count doors together, check for damage, and you hold a finished sample door in your own light. The price is written before we leave.
Every door and drawer front is labeled and removed. The kitchen is masked, the boxes degreased, scuffed and primed. Hardware goes in bags.
Grain filled on oak, sanded, primed, two coats of catalyzed urethane. Boxes get the same finish on site on day two. Nothing is brushed.
Doors rehung and adjusted, hardware on, masking down, kitchen cleaned. We open every door with you before you pay the balance.

We bring sample doors to every estimate: the same raised-panel door, oak on one side and sprayed on the other. You pick from colors you can hold, not a fan deck.
Want a color that isn't here? On kitchens over 30 doors we spray one of your own doors in it and bring it back before you book.
$110per door, everything included
$65 per drawer front. Boxes, face frames and end panels are included.
A typical Jacksonville kitchen is 20 to 24 doors and 10 to 12 drawer fronts, which lands between $2,850 and $3,420. Count yours and you have the number before we ring the bell.
$2,500 minimum. Our standard terms are half to schedule, half when every door is back on and you're happy. Book by Friday, November 13 and the deposit is waived: $100 holds your date and comes off the final bill. The $100 isn't refunded if you cancel; if we move your date, it is. Card, bank transfer or check.
If the cabinet boxes are solid, and in nearly every 1980s to 2000s Jacksonville kitchen they are, replacement means paying for new boxes you don't need. Here's the honest comparison.
| Refinish with us | Reface | Replace | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typical kitchen | $2,850 to $3,500 | $8,000 to $15,000 | $15,000 to $30,000 and up |
| Time without a kitchen | None. Doors off, kitchen works | 1 to 2 weeks | 3 to 6 weeks plus demo |
| Days on site | 2 of 4 | 5 to 10 | 15 to 30 |
| Keeps your layout and counters | Yes | Yes | Usually not |
| Color choice | Any solid color | Limited door styles | Anything, at a price |
| Right when | Boxes are solid, doors look dated | Doors are damaged | The layout is wrong |
Reface and replace figures are typical Jacksonville ranges from contractor and cost-guide sites, not our quotes. If your cabinets aren't a good candidate for refinishing, we'll say so at the estimate.

RefinishLab Cabinets is a Jacksonville company run by Michael, from the team behind Elite Floor Coatings. One job at a time, owner at the estimate and at the walkthrough.
The warranty, in one sentence: if the finish peels or lifts on a door we sprayed in the next two years, we re-spray it at no charge. Full terms.
No, and the difference is why it lasts. Painted cabinets are brushed or rolled in place with wall paint. We remove the doors, spray them in a shop with a catalyzed urethane made for cabinets, and spray the boxes on site. Hard, smooth, cleanable, no brush marks.
Not on properly prepped wood. Peeling comes from skipped prep: grease left on, no sanding, latex over a slick factory finish. We degrease, scuff every surface, prime with a bonding primer and spray a catalyzed topcoat. The two-year warranty covers peeling and lifting.
Oak is most of what we do. Its open grain shows through paint unless it's filled, so we fill the grain on doors and the finish reads as smooth new cabinetry, not painted oak.
Thermofoil or laminate that's peeling, and particleboard that has swollen from water, usually under the sink. We'll tell you at the estimate. Often one replacement door or box is the fix and we price it as a line item.
Our standard terms are half to schedule and half at the walkthrough, after you've opened every door. Through Friday, November 13 we're waiving the deposit for pre-Thanksgiving kitchens: $100 holds your date, comes off your final bill, and is all you pay until the job is done. The $100 is the one thing that isn't refundable if you cancel, because it holds a week on our finisher's calendar. If we're the ones who move your date, you get it back the same day.
You never lose it. Boxes are usable the morning after they're sprayed and the doors go back on day four. Go easy on the finish for a week while it fully cures.
Yes. Dark to white, white to green, oak to anything. Solid colors only; we don't do stained or natural wood finishes.
